This sandy beach haven is known as one of Ontario's natural wonders

Here’s everything you need to know about visiting Ontario’s largest sand dunes.
Sand Hill Parks

With just a few weeks left of summer, you might be looking for the perfect way to spend the remaining weekends of the season.

We recommend checking out Sand Hill Park, a sandy paradise located right here in Ontario.

Known as one of Ontario's natural wonders, Sand Hill Park is located on the north shore of Lake Erie. Towering more than 100 metres (350ft) above the lake, the mountain of sand, which was created through a series of glacial events, offers incredible panoramic views of the lake, epic sunsets, a great beach, campgrounds, picnic areas, hiking trails, and so much more.

Whether you want to spend the day hiking on the trails, swimming along the sandy beach, or camping overnight (or all of the above), there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The Sand Dunes

The jaw-dropping sand dunes at Sand Hill Park are like something out of a fantasy movie. Picture gigantic mounds of golden sand that seem to touch the sky–it's a sight you won't believe until you see it with your own eyes. And guess what? You can climb those dunes and soak in the most epic views of Lake Erie and the lush greenery all around.
