Why do we need speed-cam warning signs, period.
To my thinking those signs are no different than "aiding and abetting". If a person assists, encourages, or supports another person in committing a crime,meaning engages in aiding or abetting, then that person becomes a party to the crime and is as culpable as the person who actually committed the crime.
Speeding is a crime! Why help someone to circumvent the law?

Counselors for the city of Barrie should read these comments and immediately rescind their emotion on the flag. If the counselors have $250,000 burning a hole in their pockets, there are a lot better ways of spending it.

$25,000 would be a ridiculous price to spend on a flag and flagpole, but $250,000 is completely ludicrous.

The township has a debt of over 16 million and apparently they have no qualms about increasing that by another 27 million. Council should learn to budget and spend money on hand, increasing the debt load can backfire. Counselors would think twice about spending public money they don't have if they were made personally responsible for the payments.
