The Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery has released its annual list of Ontario's most popular baby names, revealing that in 2022, Ontarians did not stray far from the top names picked in previous years.

For girls, Olivia maintains its reign as the top choice for the 14th consecutive year, with Charlotte, Amelia, Emma, and Sophia rounding out the top five. Chloe made its debut in the top 10, sharing the seventh spot with Isla, alongside Ava, Evelyn, Lily, and Mia.

On the boys' side, the 2022 list mirrored that of 2021. Noah secured the top spot for the fourth consecutive year, followed by Liam, Oliver, Jack, and Benjamin. Theodore, Lucas, William, Ethan, and Leo completed the top 10 names for boys.
