This week’s Village Wild video, presented by Dietrich Law, captures two moose running along the shoreline of Goulais Bay in Sault Ste. Marie.
Filmed by Diane Brooks from her home on Pine Shores Road at around 7:40 a.m., the short clip shows the moose moving gracefully across the sand, their silhouettes set against the morning light.
"We do see moose occasionally," Brooks told SooToday, a sister site of Village Life. "Three weeks ago I saw a lot of moose tracks on the beach but didn’t see the moose. They come over from the marsh. We see more geese than moose," she added.
