As we embrace the sunny days and warm nights, it's crucial to keep safety at the forefront of our minds. Remember, wildfires can be a real threat, so before heading out to your chosen park, be sure to check the park alerts page on the Ontario Parks website. Safety always comes first, and being prepared is the key to a worry-free adventure.

Ontario's abundance of pristine lakes and rivers is an open invitation to swimmers, boaters, and paddlers. But let's not forget about water safety. Brush up on your skills with Water Safety 101. Start by using a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) to keep yourself safe. Luckily, Ontario Parks has got your back with their PFD lending program. You can borrow a PFD for free at many parks, ensuring that your aquatic adventures are as safe as they are fun!
