Chances are you haven't tried olive oil in your coffee before, but Starbucks may have you rethinking that.

Starting January 30, Starbucks Oleato beverages will be available at all stores across Canada for the first time, marking a new era of elevated coffee experiences for Canadian customers.

The Oleato line brings together the rich flavours of Starbucks coffee with the velvety smoothness of Partanna extra virgin olive oil, creating a truly unique and indulgent coffee sensation.

With the national launch of Oleato, Starbucks introduces two tantalizing new beverages: the Oleato Golden Foam Iced Shaken Espresso with Toffeenut and the Oleato Oat Latte.

Starbucks customers can also add Oleato Golden Foam -- lush vanilla sweet cream infused with Partanna extra virgin olive oil -- to any of their iced beverages.

The story of Oleato traces back to the sun-drenched landscapes of Sicily, where Starbucks founder Howard Schultz was captivated by the daily Mediterranean tradition of adding a spoonful of olive oil to one's morning coffee. Experimenting with this age-old custom, Schultz discovered a remarkable synergy between coffee and olive oil—a combination that transformed ordinary coffee into a luxurious indulgence.

Originally debuting in Italy in February 2023, Oleato beverages have now made their way to Starbucks stores across Canada, including company-operated stores, licensed cafes in grocery stores, airports, universities, and Starbucks Reserve locations.

While this beverage pairing might not be for everyone, we recommend giving it a try and let your taste buds be the judge.
