Get ready to embark on an unforgettable adventure as Canada's Wonderland gears up to kick off its highly anticipated 2024 season on May 3rd in Vaughan, Ontario.

With a mix of excitement and nostalgia, this year promises to be a rollercoaster ride of emotions as the park unveils a brand-new attraction while bidding farewell to a beloved classic.

Introducing Moosehorn Falls:

Splash Works, the beloved water wonderland within Canada's Wonderland, is set to welcome a thrilling addition to its lineup: Moosehorn Falls. Prepare to be swept away on an exhilarating rafting journey like no other. Accommodating up to six adventurers, Moosehorn Falls will take guests on a heart-pounding ride through rushing river cascades, twists, and turns before reaching the pinnacle of excitement - a gravity-defying 13-meter wall. As riders crest the vertical apex, experiencing a moment of weightlessness, they'll be propelled downstream to a refreshing pool, culminating their aquatic adventure with a spectacular splash.

But what's the story behind the name? Moosehorn Falls draws inspiration from the picturesque waterfalls along the Broad River on the Moosehorn Trail in Fundy National Park, New Brunswick. This trail, nestled within the UNESCO-designated Fundy Biosphere Region, boasts stunning natural beauty and is home to the endangered Inner Bay of Fundy Atlantic Salmon. The name pays homage to the unique antler-shaped river rocks sculpted by millennia of water erosion, making it one of the fifty 'Amazing Places' within the Fundy Biosphere Region.

Farewell to an Icon:

As the park embraces the new, it also bids adieu to a long-standing favorite. After 26 years of thrilling guests, the Xtreme Skyflyer has taken its final flight and will be retired from Canada's Wonderland. Since its debut in 1996, except for a hiatus in 2020, this iconic attraction has lifted thrill-seekers 47 meters high before unleashing them into a breathtaking freefall, offering panoramic views of Grande World Expo. Over its illustrious tenure, the Xtreme Skyflyer provided over 1,179,213 adrenaline-fueled rides, leaving an indelible mark on the memories of park-goers.
