It seems like every week a new celebrity tell-all is hitting the bookshelves. And we’re not complaining! With so many to choose from, the biggest challenge is deciding which to read first (and how many you can squeeze into your luggage). From a 90s sitcom heart throb to a red-haired royal, to the pop star we’re all rooting for and more, these are our picks for sizzling celeb beach reads.

Britney Spears: The Woman in Me

When it was announced last year that Britney would be sharing her story, in her own words, supporters of the pop princess were on the edge of their seats. Many would agree it was worth the wait. In its first week alone over 1 million copies were sold. On her terms Britney talks about the early years and a stint on Star Search, her high-profile relationships, and ultimately breaking free from her conservatorship. No topic is off limits, and if audio books are your thing, this one is narrated by none other than Dawson’s Creek alum, Michelle Williams.

Molly Shannon: Hello, Molly! A Memoir

If you’re looking for a true story of inspiration, you’ve found it. But be warned, the first few chapters are a tough read. The story opens with Molly sharing how at age four she lost her mom, sister and cousin in a horrific car accident. However, what starts out tragically quickly turns into a story of resilience and tenacity. Molly shows us how it’s possible to achieve your dreams while being gracious and kind. And with signature SNL characters like Mary Katherine Gallagher and Sally O’Malley, how she always kept her sense of humour intact.

John Stamos: If You Would Have Told Me

Have mercy because everyone’s favourite uncle is not holding back. In this page turner John dishes on the soap opera role that put him on the map, speaks fondly of his days touring with the Beach Boys, and how deeply affected he was by the passing of friend and co-star Bob Saget (have the tissues close by). With a foreword by Academy Award winner Jamie Lee Curtis, get comfortable because once you start reading, you won’t stop. But as opposed to reading all about it, if you would rather listen to John tell his story (and we don’t blame you), the audio book is the way to go.

Pamela Anderson: Love, Pamela: A Memoir of Prose, Poetry, and Truth

Decades after she was discovered at a British Columbia football game, our Canadian hearts still belong to Pam. We’re ready to soak up every last detail about the quintessential Baywatch babe, her weakness for bad-boy musicians, how she was unfairly portrayed in the media and the unrelenting paparazzi. In this book Pam talks her biggest passion - animal rights activism, and how for her second act she’s taken on Broadway. We’re here for every second of it.

Spare: Prince Harry

From the moment we tearfully watched a 12-year-old Harry walk behind his mother’s coffin, we’ve been following along every step of his journey. Now, the man who’s fifth in line for the throne, aka the Spare, is ready to share. Harry discusses his misspent youth, his redemption, sibling rivalry and how it felt to grieve his mum’s death with the world watching. Plus, for all the romantics hoping for some behind-the-scenes of the love story of the century, you won’t be disappointed.
